The goal of the "City of Yes" is to undermine the rights of property owners along with the State legislators underlying plan to create "15-minute" communities throughout the outer boroughs, particularly in Queens. The "City of Yes" is merely a steppingstone towards that direction.

The single highest priority of local government is to ensure the safety of the people in its jurisdiction. Yet we have unsafe streets, mass shoplifting, serious assaults and random subway killings.
